Connect to our public WIFI (Caldwell Public Library_WIFI) Pull up your document on your phone Locate and select the print option on your phone Look for the share icon on apple devices and the menu icon on android devices Select the Brother HL-L8360CDW printer Determine the number of copies, color settings, etc. that you would like to use Tap the PRINT button on your phone Watch for the "Please Wait" message to appear on the screen, then retrieve your documents when the print job is complete Pay for your documents at the counter $0.10 per side for black and white | $0.50 per side for color Mobile Printing Follow the steps below to print documents from your phone from inside the library.

    Apply online to get your library card! This application will get you started, stop in to the library to finish up and get your physical card. Get a Library Card The Caldwell Public Library serves residents of the city of Caldwell. Caldwell residents and those owning property within Caldwell city limits, qualify for a borrower card. How to Apply In Person Visit the Caldwell Public Library. Bring your Photo ID and proof of residence to the circulation desk. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to be present to sign the application and show photo ID and proof of residence. Acceptable Documents - Proof of Residence Mail received at residence within the last 30 days Electronic form of utility bill from the last 30 days Signed rental or lease agreement from the last 30 days Proof of auto insurance Valid Idaho driver’s license or ID card, issued within the last year Tax assessment notice Postcard sent by the library to the patron’s physical address Nonresidents Those residing outside Caldwell city limits may purchase library services with an annual fee. Annual nonresident card: $50.00 Six month nonresident card: $25.00 Annual senior nonresident card: $25.00 Six month senior nonresident card: $12.50 *prices include tax Renewing Your Library Card Your library card expires one year after it was issued, or one year after your last renewal. Accounts that have been expired for more than 3 years will be removed from our system, and a new library card application will be required to resume services. Need to renew your card? Here are your options: In Person: Bring your photo ID to the front desk at the library to renew your card. If the address on your account has changed, you will also need to provide new proof of address. Over the Phone: If the address on your account has not changed, you are able to renew your card over the phone. Give us a call at 208-459-3242 to renew your card. We are unable to take payments for non-resident card renewals over the phone, but you can opt to pay for your card through your online account. Replacing a Lost Card If your card is lost or stolen, notify the library immediately. For more information, please contact the circulation desk at 208.459.3242.

It's easy to join the Friends of the Caldwell Public Library, and annual membership dues are only $10 Become a Friend Today Support the Friends Book Sales Book sales are just one of the many ways the Friends of the Caldwell Public Library raises funds to help support library programs. Find a new favorite or stock up on classics. You never know what amazing things you'll find at the Friends Book Sales. Mark your calendar for these upcoming sales: 2026 March 6-7, 2026 - 10am-4pm June 26-27, 2026 - 10am-4pm September 18-19, 2026 - 10am-4pm December 5, 2026 Book Donations You can donate gently used books to the Friends of the Caldwell Public Library. We sell them in our Book Sales, as well as provide books for various organizations serving people throughout the city. Book Donation Guidelines: Books must be in pristine condition - we can not accept soiled or damaged books We do not accept textbooks or encyclopedias If you are unsure if your books are right for the library, you can always ask a staff member Cash Contributions You can send tax-deductible cash contributions to the Friends of the Caldwell Public Library who will use those gifts to support library programs and purchase of new materials.
